Title: New dashboard: Introducing the utilisation dashboard to Hub

What's new: As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your ability to monitor and optimize EV charging operations, we’re excited to introduce the Utilisation Dashboard to Monta Hub. This new dashboard gives you deep insights into the performance of your charging sites, allowing you to benchmark their utilisation against over 200,000 charge points connected to the Monta platform.
Understanding utilisation
Before we dive into the new dashboard, let’s first clarify what we mean by utilisation. At Monta, we define utilisation based on the following criteria:
Average kWh / port / day
For DC operators, kWh output is key — directly correlating to your revenue. This also accounts for variables like load balancing, idle times, and site design efficiency. To smooth out day-to-day data fluctuations, we calculate the average over a minimum of one month.
Key Features of the Utilisation Dashboard
The dashboard focuses on three main areas to help you measure and optimise site performance:
- Average Utilisation kWh: See the average kWh output of your site over the selected period.
- Average Utilisation Time: View the percentage of time your site is being actively used.
- Benchmark Performance: Compare your sites to others on the Monta platform with benchmark metrics for Top Performance, Great Performance, and Poor Performance.

The dashboard includes several key filtering options, giving you flexibility to dive deeper into performance metrics:
Throughout the dashboard, you can track the performance of your sites over time. At the bottom, you'll find comparative metrics and graphs showing your average site utilisation kWh and average site utilisation %-time relative to the selected time period. You’ll also get an overview of how your sites measure up against Top, Great, and Poor performing charge points on the Monta platform.
Important: Please note that the dashboard currently only includes charge points managed directly on the Monta platform, excluding roaming charge point statistics.
Availability: The Utilisation Dashboard will be available at the operator level across all markets.
