We’re introducing User Actions — a new set of in-app tools that let EV drivers take quick, safe steps to resolve common charging issues without needing support.
You’ll soon see three new options appear directly in the Monta app when relevant:
Unlock Cable – Release your charging cable if it remains locked after a session.
Reboot Charger – Restart a charger that appears stuck or shows an error.
Force Stop – End a charging session that’s stuck while stopping.
These actions will appear automatically when they’re safe and applicable to your situation.
Sometimes a simple action can get drivers back to charging faster, without waiting for operator assistance. User Actions empower drivers to solve minor issues on their own, improving uptime, reducing frustration, and ensuring a smoother charging experience.
Currently available to a limited number of users via feature flags. We’ll expand availability to everyone in the coming weeks once initial feedback and performance are confirmed.
